We bought a townhouse!

Update (Feb. 14): We closed yesterday and should be getting the keys today! Anybody want to help us move?

Angela and I bought a townhouse this morning! Thus ends a very long and tedious process of meeting with Darin, our realtor, day after day at 4:15 trying to find a place that meet's the following qualifications:

• nice looking
• somewhat private
• in our price range (i.e. mortgage payments about the same as renting)
• somewhere between Angela's work and BYU
• close enough to the freeway that it won't take forever to get to SLC when I intern in the summers

It's in North Orem. It's 1600 sq ft.. It has 3 bedrooms, a basement that we will turn into a movie room, 2.5 bathrooms, parking underneath (opens into the basement), new carpet and paint job, and a great view of Timp. The only annoying thing about it is the kitchen looks right into our neighbor's kitchen. I guess that's what curtains are for.

We're excited. Hopefully we'll be able to start moving in before the wedding, but we'll see how long it takes the loan to go through. We might have to move in the day after the honeymoon. Oh well.
