The Gang
Since I'd probably get mail bombs if I didn't mention "the gang," I will. Although, I have no idea if we still could be considered the "gang." I haven't been in Austin much since I graduated. But to Jonas Andersen (now Sappington, of course), Joe Li, Bryan Cotanch, Andy Britcher, Matt Eiben, and James and Aaron Newman, y'all felch. Just kidding. Only a few of y'all felch. You know who you are.
Life was grand back in the days when we were still all froods, was it not? Take, for example, how white and streamy the outside of my house looked as it bathed in toilet paper the morning after I returned from my first semester at BYU. If that doesn't show how much we respect each other now, I don't know what does. Then there was Schlitterbahn, endless nights of Street Fighter II, W.U.S.S., Monty Python tennis, Kleenex eating, midnight chip munching in the center of Parmer Lane, super maze dodge ball in the church gym, breaking into the school at 2 AM, and all those other things that we'll probably never do again (except as sad, middle-aged men trying desperately to reclaim our absurd adolescence). But they're such good memories.
You know, I really wish I could name all my friends and all my teachers and everyone I ever knew. But alas, I can't remember most of you anymore. Julie Au, of course, would kill me for not mentioning her. She's one of the most awesome friends ever. And whatever happened to the Westview crowd like Ramana, Nickou, Pam, Catherine, Carryn, Matt (don't know your class rank, my butt... don't you miss Gladney?), Anu, and so on. All these people who were once played such an important part of my life. Everyone gone their separate ways....
